Just 15 minutes from the city centre in Port Melbourne, this is the venue for Small Bore and Pistol Shooting events.
The Melbourne International Shooting Club currently houses a 10m indoor shooting area as well as 25m and 50m ranges. The venue will undergo upgrades of its target systems and infrastructure to enhance its international-standard facilities.

All spectator entry is General Admission.
There are no allocated seating areas.
Standing room is available behind the 50m Range, the 10m Range and the 25m Range.
There is also a Spectator Plaza behind the 25m Range viewing area.

Venue restrictions: Observe list of restricted items which cannot be brought into the venue. Be sure to stay only within areas marked for spectators. Spectator viewing at this venue is standing room only.
Sport Specific Information: There will be no access onto the field of play at any time. Spectators should wear the supplied ear plugs during competition to avoid hearing damage.

Can I bring a bag? Large bags eskies and picnic hampers are not permitted in Games venues. Bags must be able to sit under the seat. All bags will be inspected on entry to Games venues. It will take people with a bag longer to enter Games venues than those without a bag.
Can I bring a flag and banner? Flags and banners smaller than one metre by one metre and with handles shorter than one metre long may be taken into Games venues. Flags and banners must not cover any Games venue signage.
Security The safety and security of all spectators is a priority. Every person entering a Games venue will need to pass through a security screening process. They can expect the process to be similar to an airport security check. The contents of pockets will be checked and bags will be searched.
Can I bring my own food and drink? Each competition venue has a range of food and drink refreshments available for purchase. A small amount of unopened food and drink may be brought into venues by spectators.
Alcohol cannot be taken into any Games venue.
Can I bring a camera or video camera? Not available. Photography and filming for personal, non-commercial purposes is permitted at Games venues. Some venues however, do not allow for flash photography. |
