Singapore has added two more medals to its tally after winning gold and silver in the Women's Doubles Table Tennis Final.

The invincible team of Jia Wei LI and Xue Ling Zhang beat teammates Sharon Tan and Xu Yan, 3-0.

Jia Wei Li, the gold medallist in this event at Manchester 2002, played her signature fast attacking style, winning critical points and taking the game 11-9.

Tan and Yan, a dynamic duo in earlier matches, allowed their opponents to dominate the second game which they lost 11-2.

Tan and Yan battled hard in the third game but Li and Zhang finished them off 11-9.

Gold medallists and Doubles partners Li and Zhang will now play each other tomorrow, in the Women's Singles Gold Medal Match.
