With the singles action over, the Squash turns to the Men's and Women's Doubles and the Mixed Doubles competition at the all-glass show court in the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
Defending Men's Doubles champions Peter Nicol and Lee Beachill of England will be aiming to add another medal to their Singles gold and bronze as the Squash Men's Doubles competition gets underway on Wednesday.
They will face fierce competition from the Australian team of Anthony Ricketts and Stewart Boswell, who will be looking to go one medal better than their silver in Manchester.
Other teams to watch will be Campbell Grayson and Martin Knight of New Zealand, second English pair Nick Matthew and James Willstrop, and Australians Dan Jenson and David Palmer.
Pool matches in the Squash Mixed Doubles will also start on Wednesday. Typically, doubles matches are characterised by long rallies.
The Mixed Doubles will be highly competitive with a number of teams in with a medal chance.
Glen Wilson of New Zealand will be hoping the brilliant singles form of his new Mixed Doubles partner Shelley Kitchen will be enough to defend his Manchester gold.
Their strongest challenge will come from the 2002 silver medallists Nicol David and Ong Beng Hee of Malaysia.
In the Women's Doubles, there will be huge local support for Australian sisters Rachael and Natalie Grinham who are backing up from their gold and silver in the singles.
It is expected their strongest challenge will come from Shelley Kitchen and Tamsyn Leevey who will defend New Zealand's gold won in Manchester.
