Duos battle in Men's 50m Rifle Pairs

19 Mar 06 19:42
Indian duo Gagan Narang and Abhinav Bindra will be looking to consolidate their winning partnership in the Men's 50m Rifle Three Positions Pairs at the Melbourne International Shooting Club on day five of competition.

The pair claimed gold and set a new Games record in the 10m Air Rifle on day two.

However, they can expect strong competition from England's Chris Hector and Jason Burrage. The English pair teamed up to win silver in this event at Manchester in 2002, while Hector also has another six Commonwealth Games medals to his name, including three golds.
