Sandler has been competing in gymnastics for more than 10 years, achieving success as a junior and landing a 22nd place finish in the all-round competition at the Athens Olympics. Strong appearances on her own at the World Games in Germany and as part of the team at the World Championships should help her chances in Melbourne
