Canadian Alexandra Orlando has added to her haul of gold medals so far in the Rhythmic Gymnastics competition after taking out her second gold in the Individual All-Around Final.

Orlando is striving to win all six gold medals on offer and equal the record for the most gold medals won by an athlete at a single Commonwealth Games.

Orlando was streets ahead of the competition, seizing the gold with a total score of 54.625 points.

Orlando scored 13.575 on Ball, 13.425 for Clubs, 13.225 for Ribbon and 14.400 on Rope, the highest apparatus score of the competition.

The World Championship Finalist said she was surprised with some of her performances, despite her dominance in the competition.

"Rope was my best routine, but it's usually my worst apparatus, so I'm pretty happy," Orlando said. "I was disappointed with my Clubs routine, because I rarely drop them. The performance was so unlike me."

The Canadian also won the gold in the Team Final, as well as qualifying in top position in each apparatus.

Durratun Nashihin Rosli of Malaysia finished in second place with scores of 13.275 for Rope, 12.925 for Ball, 12.950 for Clubs, 11.675 for Ribbon and an All-Around score of 50.825.

Canadian Yana Tskiaridze won the bronze with scores of 12.375 for Rope, 11.575 for Ball, 12.875 for Clubs, 12.750 for Ribbon and an All-Around score of 49.575.

On Day 11 Orlando will attempt to win gold in the remaining Apparatus Finals.
