The Road Cycling competition will take riders through one of two challenging and picturesque courses on the streets of Melbourne and surrounding suburbs as they compete in events conducted according to the rules of the International Cycling Union (UCI).
Four gold medals will be on offer with the Men’s and Women’s Road Race and Time Trials.
The Road Race will see women complete nine laps of the Road Race course, while men will do 15.
The Time Trials course is on the St Kilda Foreshore and Beach Road, with the women’s race set for 29km and the men’s race for 40km.
