Zamzai Mohamad of Malaysia in winning form against Australia's Emmanuel Fernando.

They came out swinging in the Light Flyweight 48kg division on Day 4 of Boxing competition.

Malaysian Zamzai Azizi Mohamad was poised and determined throughout his bout against Australian Emmanuel Romesh Fernando and the Malaysian closed out the match 28-13.

The silver medallist from the Manchester Games, Darran John Langley of England, met India's Suranjoy Singh Mayengbam in his second round bout.

Langley proved too good for Mayengbam winning 20-12.

In a battle of the Asian nations, T.M.C Tennakoon of Sri Lanka met Pakistan's Muhammad Nisar. From the outset Nisar was in control of the fight with his quick footwork and well executed punching, and won 37-20.

Ghana national champion Manyo Plange took on Mohammed Nasir of Wales. The Welshman's quick legs and sharp technique was frustrating for Plange, who struggled to catch his opponent. Nasir looked like a true medal contender in his 27-12 victory.
