A spectacular spectator sport, Synchronised Swimming combines strength, endurance, flexibility, grace and artistry with exceptional breath control – often while upside down underwater.
The Commonwealth Games Synchronised Swimming program will feature both a Solo and Duet component for women, contested over the two days at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatics Centre.
Each event will involve athletes completing a Technical and a Free Routine, with both scores contributing to the final competition result to determine the winners of the two gold medals.
