Despite being sick with flu in late 2005, Jones has warmed up for the Games with a record time at the Queensland titles, and comes to Melbourne ranked number one in the world for the 200m Breaststroke and second in the 100m Breaststroke, claiming both world records at the Swimming Trials in January. She’s also expected to play a key role in defending the 4x100m Medley Relay title.
