Other Kathryn is one of Australia's most successful athletes. She has won six cycling medals in her three Commonwealth Games appearances, including four golds. She also has an Olympic gold and silver medal to her name after her 1992 Barcelona Olympic campaign. In 1992 she was named Outstanding Female Olympian, Outstanding Victorian and Sports Star of the Year in Australia.

Her interests include skiing, travelling, photography and listening to music.
