Other	World Ranking: 6th in the 10m Platform (2005) 15th in the 3m Springboard (2005) Mitcham was discovered by Wang Tong Xiang while he was playing on a 1m Springboard at a public pool. His proudest sporting moment was winning the trampoline World Championships and being awarded Diver of the Year for 2001 and 2002 in his age group. Mitcham was the world double mini trampoline champion before taking up diving. He was also selected the Quest Newspapers Sportsman of the Month in April 2002. Away from the pool, Matthew enjoys listening to music and spending time with friends.
