He started 2005 by claiming the World Indoor Pairs title for a second time and winning his third Welsh Masters singles. He was also a part of the Australian side that defeated Ireland, England and New Zealand throughout the year.

He made his international debut in 1995 at the Asia Pacific Bowls Championship in Dunedin and returned with the singles gold medal.
