| Other || Sara started competitive cycling in 1995 at fifteen years of age, and made her first Australian team two years later.|
Sara is currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at Griffith University, and has plans to further her study with a Masters Degree in education.
She was awarded Australian Female Road Cyclist of the year in 2002 and 2003.
Sara draws inspiration and motivation from Amy Gillett, an Australian cyclist who was killed in a training accident.
