She has a collection of medals from World, Commonwealth and Atlantic Rim Championships.

Still proudly serving the sport, Betty is now looking to Melbourne to deliver her long-standing dream of a Commonwealth medal.

Betty has won 56 national titles and 13 British Isles titles.

In 1994, she became the first lady to claim the British Triple Crown.
