Injuries Jeane has had a back injury since 1999.
Other Jeane picked up two medals at the Junior World Championships in 1997. She is also a University Championships medallist.

Jeane started lifting in 1993 and in 1994 she was the youngest girl on the national weightlifting team.

She started weightlifting because of her desire to play all sports available at her Junior High School and the fact that training hours got her out of washing dishes at home.

Her most memorable sporting achievement was winning a Silver medal at the Junior World Championships.

Jeane's mother is an official on the Canadian team.
