Other Susan made sports history at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal as the first and only woman entered in the trap shooting event and again at the 1990 Commonwealth Games when she was the first female entered in a shotgun competition.

She is currently ranked second in the Commonwealth in the Single Trap.

The Sydney Olympics were extra special for Nattrass who spearheaded a five-year battle for a separate women's event in trap and skeet at the Games (which debuted in Sydney)

She has been shooting competitively since 1963.
