She says team-mate Rebecca Cooke is the toughest person anybody could swim against.

She describers her finest sporting moment as winning gold at the European Short Course Championships in Vienna 2004.

In her career, she has obtained one British Junior record - in the 800m Freestyle short course.

She picked up four medals - two gold, a silver and a bronze - at the 2001 National Age Group Championships, as well as two fourth and one fifth placing.
