Other Liam Killeen won bronze as a 20-year-old at Manchester 2002 (his first senior international event). He finished fifth at last year's Olympics after getting caught in a crash early on in the Race.

He was also the highest placed Commonwealth rider in the mountain bike event at the 2005 World Cup Series, finishing ninth overall.

Liam enjoys riding around Malvern, and is especially fond of an 80km ride that travels near Ludlow and back around Ledbury.
