Injuries Emma Jones was hit by a car in 2005, while cycling near Manchester's National Velodrome.
Other Emma competed in the 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games in Athletics for Wales.

She then followed this up with a fifth in the world championships in Antwerp, and she improved on that with a career best of fourth at the 2002 world championships in Copenhagen and fourth in the Commonwealth Games.

After several years of consistent improvement, she showed impressive form in winning her first national title at the discipline in 2001.

Emma recently married, Jason Jones, a chef, and changed her name from Emma Davies to Emma Davies Jones.
