Other Louise started shooting at club level and shot in her first National championship in 1989; just one year later, fierce determination coupled with exhaustive practice gave her a Great Britain team place for the first time. She migrated from the junior ranks to Seniors in 1996, in the process maintaining her Great Britain place for 12 consecutive years.

Louise holds a degree in Art, Design and Media from Portsmouth University and although her practice schedule means that she doesn't have much spare time, she does coach some disabled shooters in target air rifle.
