Omar Brown comes from
behind to win gold in the 200m Final.
In a dramatic Men's 200m Final, Jamaica's Omar Brown has come from behind to pip Stephen Buckland from Mauritus on the line.
The two athletes clocked the same time of 20.47 seconds but Brown was awarded the gold medal because he had more momentum at the finish-line.
While Brown had a strong start, he fell back for part of the race and it looked like the gold would go to the Mauritian. But Brown summoned all of his energy to make a remarkable winning push.
Fellow Jamaican, Chris Williams, ran an impressive 200m in 20.52 seconds to take the bronze medal.
Brown, competing at his first Commonwealth Games, is ranked 17th in the world - Buckland is placed 7th and Williams is 4th on the ladder.
