Daily Summary - What was on today at the Games
Day three of competition brings a multitude of medal events as well as the running of the Men’s and Women’s Triathlon at St Kilda Foreshore. The world class line-up for both Triathlon events is sure to bring intense competition for the medals.
The Men’s and Women’s Basketball preliminaries continue at regional venues, whilst the All-round Finals in the Artistic Gymnastics commence.
Synchronised Swimming begins and nine Swimming finals will be contested in the night session at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatics Centre (MSAC).
Preliminary matches in Hockey and Netball continue at the State Netball and Hockey Centre, as well as the Men’s 69kg Final and the Women’s 58kg Final in the Weightlifting Competition.
Track Cycling moves into its penultimate evening of competition sporting three finals: Men’s Team Pursuit and Sprint and the Women’s Sprint.
