Winnie the Pooh Reading RelayA A Milne's much-loved Winnie the Pooh, a story featuring many animals from across the Commonwealth, will be read on the Library forecourt, from the first word to the last, by a succession of guest readers – including Commonwealth Writers' Prize winning authors, politicians, sports people and other celebrities. Hosted by author and actor William McInnes.

The 2006 Commonwealth Writers' Prize is sponsored by the Commonwealth Foundation. The associated event program is part of Festival Melbourne2006.
