Strike From New Zealand

Percussion in motion

This high-energy drumming group made up of New Zealand's most outstanding percussionists delivers a power-charged performance of choreographed percussion. Performing within an imposing steel scaffolding adorned with myriad traditional and non-traditional percussion instruments, the players create a visually and aurally stunning 'dance' of the drums! Their mix of musical influences - Pacific, classical and contemporary - combined with their exhilarating theatricality makes Strike breathtakingly unique in the world of percussion-based music.
