Go behind the scenes of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony. This spectacular exhibition showcases the props, costumes, lighting, never-before seen footage, music and icons from the Opening Ceremony.

Re-live the drama and excitement as you get into the spirit of this extraordinary ceremony. It also includes spectacular sporting moments as they occur, and provides a lasting record of the place the Melbourne Games has within the rich history of the Commonwealth Games.

Time: During the Games 10:00am - 7:00pm daily. Outside the Games 10:00am - 5:00pm daily . Free admission during the Commonwealth Games (18 - 26 March). From 27 March, admission is included in Museum entry.
