Dancing in the Square
A celebration of dance and rhythm from around the Commonwealth
Bust a move, Commonwealth-style!
If you've ever longed to break out into a Bollywood routine, hankered to have a go at a

, or tried out a few Riverdance moves in front of your bedroom mirror,
Dancing in the Square
is for you! Federation Square will become the biggest dance floor in town when the stars of Festival Melbourne2006 demonstrate their traditional dances. With a dance from a different Commonwealth country featured each weeknight, this is your chance to learn the moves direct from the masters themselves. It's great fun, it's suitable for all ages, and it's all free! No reservations required.
