Circus Allsorts
From Australia and the World
World Premiere
The circus at the cultural crossroads of the world ...
Welcome to
Circus Allsorts
, an impossibly eclectic bag of assorted delights from around the globe, all under the one Big Top. This delectable confection of circus and music treats from Australia and the world stars:
Ringmaster Joel Salom, comic aerial stunt-juggler, and gadget man par excellence;
Judith Lanigan as
The Dying Swan
who, inspired by Anna Pavlova, performs a classical ballet with 25 hula-hoops and a bunch of flowers;
Justin Case, trick bicyclist extraordinaire, who heroically attempts feats on a bicycle that are the stuff of nightmares;
Felicia O’Brien, high-swinging heroine of the high-trapeze performing death-defying drops with difficulty ratings to make a high-diver blush;
Jaipur Kawa Brass Band, the wild, turban-bedecked brass band from the Pink City of Rajasthan;
African ShowBoyz, five drum-pounding, foot-stomping, fire-throwing, glass-eating brothers from Ghana;
Afro Jambo Acrobats, six amazingly rubberised limbo-dancing, fire-eating, hoop-jumping, pyramid-forming acrobats from the streets of Nairobi.
Suitable for all ages.
General admission. Please note that seating in the Big Top is limited, so come early!
