Bitscape
Presented by Next Wave
Bitscape
is a digital art project involving young people from regional Victoria and New South Wales. 40 participants from Morwell, the Macedon Ranges and Wagga Wagga have worked with professional new media artist Pip Shea creating animations, blogs, and audio, video and digital images, for large-scale projections onto iconic sites in their local communities.
Bitscape
at Experimedia is a new media exhibition showcasing the stories and artworks of young people involved in the Bitscape digital art program. The artwork created by the participants has been grouped together, arranged and rearranged to create larger, collaborative artworks. The bits have combined to create collective works that create new scapes and views of the participants’ lives and the communities they live in.
