Aerial Training
Ever dreamed of running away and joining the circus? Find out what goes on behind the scenes when three Australian circuses open their normally private aerial training sessions for public viewing. The Flying Fruit Fly Circus, the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) and the Flee Circus invite you to watch their acrobats as they train on the Festival's Aerial Rig in the Alexandra Gardens. Or perhaps you'd like to see circus students participating in
Upswing
's Workshops on the Aerial Rig. A rare opportunity to sneak a glimpse into the secret world of professional acrobats.
