9 Drawings for Projection: William Kentridge
Presented for 3 nights only,
9 Drawings for Projection
brings together several of the short animated films from the 'Soho Eckstein series' of South African artist William Kentridge. Presented in 35mm it will be accompanied by a live musical performance of the original film soundtracks by composer Philip Miller. The event is produced by Ross Douglas of Artlogic.
Simultaneously, NGV International will present
7 Fragments for George Méliès
, a suite of animated films including
Day for Night
and
Journey to the Moon
. The exhibition will be open for viewing one hour prior to each performance of
9 Drawings for Projection
, from 8pm.
