The inner-Melbourne bayside suburb of St Kilda on Port Phillip Bay is 6 km south-east of the city.
During the Festival, St Kilda will be home to an 800 square metre inflatable walk-through ‘Luminarium’ at South Beach Reserve, alongside a Games Live Site which will be operating from 17-21 March.
There will also be a special St Kilda Beach night market, a reconstruction of the Lady of St Kilda shipwreck and St Kilda’s historical buildings sculptured in sand on the Foreshore and an exhibition of works from emerging Indigenous artists from Australia, Canada and New Zealand at Linden-St Kilda Centre for Contemporary Art.
