Just by grabbing an AFL Round 4 Footy Record this weekend at any AFL match in Victoria, and entering the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Ticket Ballot, you could win a night out at the Athletics finals next March with eleven friends including catering.

Simply complete the entry form found inside Footy Record and send it in to the address below, and along with our confirmation that you have entered the Ticket Ballot you will go in the draw to win.

Competition closes on 22 April 2005. Total prize value is $2340.

The winner’s name will be announced on here on this site, 6 May 2005.

Terms and Conditions “AFL Super box competition”

1. Information on how to enter and on prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Entry is open to residents of Victoria, except the employees of Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Corporation (“the Promoter”) and all Commonwealth Games bodies, and the immediate family of those persons are ineligible to enter.

3. To enter the prize draw, you must submit a valid official Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Ticket Ballot before 22 April 2005 and complete the entry form found in the Round 4 AFL football record, and send the entry form to the ‘AFL MCG Super box Competition’ Locked Bag 4007 South Melbourne 3205 VIC.

4. The promotion commences at 9am EST on Friday 15 April 2005 and closes at midnight on 22 April 2005.

5. There is one prize consisting of twelve tickets (Price Level A) to the M2006 Super box at the MCG on Wednesday 22 March 2006 for the athletics evening session of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. Catering for the duration of the session is provided. The total value of the prize is $2340.

6. The prize draw will take place on 29 April 2005 at the Promoter’s Headquarters at the World Trade Centre, Siddeley Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 and will be a random draw. The first valid entry produced will receive the prize.

7. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The judge’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries.

8. Use of the tickets in the major prize is subject to the terms and conditions applicable to those tickets.

9. In the event that any part of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize which in the Promoter’s sole opinion is of equal or greater value.

10. The prize winner’s name will be published on the Melbourne 2006 website at and contacted by phone within one week of the draw date.

11 Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, the Promoter, the State of Victoria and all Commonwealth Games bodies shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the promotion or the prize.

Details from all entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for publicity purposes surrounding this promotion.
